When we decided to get a dog, we were concerned by the fact that we both worked full days and were very worried about our dog being left all day with no company. 'Paws Holidays' has however been the perfect solution to our worries. Our dog goes to 'doggy day care' five days a week and has done so ever since she was a puppy. Paws Holidays picks her up in the morning and drops her off in the afternoon. It is extremely comforting to know that our dog is being looked after by someone like Claire. Not only is Claire very reliable but she genuinely loves dogs and goes out of her way to ensure that they are happy in her care. thanks to Claire we come home every evening to a very happy and content dog and even a note from Claire informing us of what our dog got up to during the day!

With both of us working fulltime, we needed to find someone to help us with caring for Skippy and Claire has been fantastic. They have built up a great relationship and we come home to find a very relaxed Skippy after her days out socializing with other dogs so thank you so much ! We highly recommend Claire and hope to continue the care for Skippy for many years to come. She gets a very smart haircut too !

Pugsey loves coming to occassional day care & overnight stays. He has lots of energy and is excitable, so this works out great! Claire aslo comes to our home to clip Pugsey's Nails. He used to go to the vets, where he would get very worried, and have to be held down by two people. Claire keeps him calm, by talking softly and keeping him relaxed, and is able to clip his nails! We are very pleased!

If you have a dog or cat or any animal then your prime concern is to make sure that he/she is looked after properly. There are times when we can’t be with our pets, but we can’t leave them for hours either. When I found Claire I was over the moon and still am…She is fully committed to looking after all her animals in her care and so are her team………My dog is with Claire three days a week. I know he enjoys his time with Claire by his reaction, he is just so happy to be there, plus he gets to see all his friends as well. I believe that he is as much a part of Claire’s family as he is ours.

I have been using this small local outfit for over a year now, to care for my Border terrier whilst I’m out at work or away for other reasons. The care given by Claire and colleagues is both professional and affectionate and, as a result, my dog is always delighted to be picked up and go with them. Particular attributes of the service worthy of mention are:
• The collect and return service, which is invaluable;
• Reasonable prices;
• The flexibility (for example, a visit and a walk could be provided instead of all day care and we have often been able to get care at very short notice);
• Holiday and other over-night stays;
• The small scale of the operation, so the animals get plenty of attention and exercise and enjoy each other’s  company;
• Expert knowledge and advice and good communication with owners.

I have no hesitation in recommending this high quality day care service
